Please be aware Smuggler's Cove Boatyard is a working boatyard and therefore there will possibly be some noise such as clanking rigging and people working on or launching their boats. We also get the occasional group of Outward Bound students having canoeing lessons on the slipway! There can be moments of peace and tranquility but also hubbub and excitement :) Your tents are around the corner from all this so unlikely to hear it there. The Cambrian railway line runs on a raised embankment through our boatyard, and the coastal A493 road passes above on the hill, separated from the site by trees and slate slopes...these don't seem to bother most of our campers, but we just want to make this clear.
It can get pretty windy and wild on the foreshore during stormy weather, and you are very close to the water, which can be exciting but is just something else to be aware of!
***A new addition to the boatyard foreshore is 'Sawna Dyfi': a small 6 person sauna in a converted horse box, run by a local community organisation. Open to the public until the end of May (Thur - Sun), our holiday guests currently get a complimentary ticket and can book their place separately via the Sawna Dyfi website (more info on how to book is provided once you have made your booking).***
